Monstavision - Supplier to RWC 2011 – Venues and Fan Zones
As NZ’s largest and leading LED screen provider we are proud to have supplied screens to Stadiums and selected Official RWC Fan Zones around New Zealand.

RWC Stadiums
Out of the nine Stadiums that hosted RWC games that required LED screens, Monstavision supplied eight of those.

Monstavision worked with International sports presentation company, Great Big Events, who were contracted by RNZ 2011 Ltd , to provide screens as part of the in-stadium entertainment package.

Our internationally experienced team have once again delivered a professional product that compliments the status of the Tournament.

Sell-out crowds and great rugby, all featuring on the Monstavision screens.

RWC Fan Zones
Monstavision have screens at the Official RWC Fan Zones in Christchurch, Wellington, New Plymouth, Nelson and Albany in Auckland.

Some of these sites have multi screens, and in Christchurch we also are providing the screens for the Satellite Fan Zones, taking the Cup to some of the worst affected suburbs, to bring some much needed joy to the people.

We also need to make it very clear, Monstavision were not involved with the screens that broke down and caused huge problems in Downtown Auckland on the Opening night of the RWC. They were from opposition companies.

Monstavision prides itself in delivering and making sure these sorts of issues don’t occur at any of our events.

Melbourne Cup 2011 – Flemington
Monstavision’s long standing relationship with the Victoria Racing Club, will be continued in 2011 with the supply of 20 plus screens at Flemington for the Race that Stops two Nations !!

It means an exceptionally busy time with the first day of the Melbourne Cup Carnival, Derby Day, falling only 5 days following the RWC Final in Auckland.

Our Logistics and Technical teams plan with precision, as well as using their experience with major International multi screen events ,means our clients can be assured of a professional screen delivery and presentation.

Monstavision/Daktronics Partnership Wins AMI Stadium Screens Tender
We are proud to announce that V-Base, has selected the Monstavision/Daktronics partnership to provide a new Daktronics LED screen for the AMI Stadium in Christchurch.

The new 66 sq metre Daktronics DVX model , will replace the current Lighthouse screen and will come with the latest control systems, providing AMI with new world class technology.

As part of the contract, Monstavision will also provide a second Daktronics screen, for all the RWC 2011 matches at the Stadium.

Rugby World Cup 2011
Monstavision has now been contracted to provide LED screens to the majority of the Venues hosting the matches for the Rugby World Cup 2011.
From Northland through to Invercargill, the national infrastructure, technical expertise and experience of the Monstavision team will provide the Stadiums with a complete LED solution.

The three Official Fan Zone cities, Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch have also contracted Monstavision to provide LED screens for their requirements.

International Sevens, Wellington 2011
The long term relationship with the Sevens weekend continued with Monstavision, providing LED screens around the “Party City”, as well as providing 210 metres of LED digital signage on the sideline at Westpac Stadium.

We had screens at Queens Wharf, Odlins Plaza and the Stadium Concourse as well showing the Sevens on our permanent screen on the Embassy Theatre in Courtney Place.

Thousands of happy fans watched the screens downtown, and the images of the digital signage were beamed around the world.

NZ Breakers Basketball
We are proud to be associated with the Burger King Breakers Basketball team who are one of the leading teams in the Australian NBL competition.
A first for Basketball in NZ, Monstavision provide the sideline LED digital signage at the North Shore event centre for the teams home matches.
An electric atmosphere, that showcases the talent and a huge fan base.


Summer Racing
Another highly successful spring and summer horse racing season has seen Monstavision, as the Official Screen Supplier to the NZ Racing Board, provide screens at the major meetings throughout the country. Huge crowds and excellent racing provide a colourful combination, with the Monstavision screens bring the action up close.

The Christchurch Cup Week, was again an outstanding success with Monstavision providing screens at Addington and Riccarton.

Melbourne Cup Carnival- Flemington
As the exclusive supplier to the Victoria Racing Club for LED screens for the carnival, Monstavision was proud to be part of the 150th running of the Melbourne Cup. A very special occasion that stopped both Nations on the first Tuesday in November.

Derby Day on the first day of the Carnival, ended in torrential rain, but the Monstavision screens all around Flemington added to the huge crowds enjoyment of the day. Unlike some of the horses, the screens were unaffected by the wet conditions !

Nitro Circus and Super X
The exciting world of extreme sport has hit NZ, with both the Super X touring prior to Christmas and Nitro Circus in February 2011. The crowd response has been fantastic with full stadia around NZ. Monstavision provided two LED screens at North Harbour, Waikato, AMI Stadium, Christchurch and Carisbrook.
Watch this sector of the entertainment world, it is expanding quickly.

NZ Cricket
The long standing relationship between NZ cricket and Monstavision continued over the home season with screens provided for the Pakistan/ Black Caps Tests, ODI’s and T/Twenty matches. Again with games all around NZ, our experienced team were kept busy.

Coca Cola Christmas in the Park

Two fantastic Christmas shows staged at Hagley Park in Christchurch, and The Domain in Auckland. Massive crowds supported these iconic family shows, and Monstavison provided screens for both events.

Winery Shows
Our drive in screens have been busy with the popular vineyard concerts throughout the summer. We have had screens at Alana Estate, Church Road, Villa Maria, and the Mission concert featuring Sting.

International Tennis
Monstavision were high profile at both the ASB Classic and Heineken Tournaments in Auckland in January. We provided a screen and scoreboard, as well as the production and music on Centre Court. A second screen was used for the popular Base Line party on the night of the Heineken Final.

First Daktronics Galaxy LED Message Display in New Zealand

When leading global logistics supplier Mainfreight required dynamic signage for their head office building they turned to Monstavision. Over previous years Monstavision had supplied attention grabbing advertising for Mainfreight on the All Blacks sideline digital signage system.

Monstavision provided the complete advertising solution from design of the mechanical structure to hold the sign through to installation, media production and training.
